In the Carnival of the Mundane, I discovered a few other cool sites, including Taller Than Average Tales. I saw that the writer, Claire, had an audiopost on the Oscars.
This inspired me, and I decided to do my Oscar Wrap up out loud. I was SUPER nervous, and my phone kept cutting off, so please be kind, but I thought it might be decker than reading it.
Anyway, My thoughts on the big night:

Personally, I found the music under the acceptance speeches tremendously distracting though I was able to tune it out better towards the end. Not a bad idea, but a bit too loud and I didn't care for the music selection.
Great job with the audio post!
My what a nice voice you have, Hyperion. Deep, throaty and very sexy.....oh my. Great post.
I agree with you on the whole acting out the movies during the songs. Lame!
It is exceedingly professional, almost making it seem like you done it all your life.Well sort of anyways.
Great audio!
Great audio!
lol! I just finished listening to your audio post! I actually didn't get it at first, I mean from the letter Tobias responded to, I thought it was about my blog (Don't laugh). To tell you the truth, I had to listen about 4 times to catch the C'est la Vie! lol! No offence meant! Its just that my hearing ain't super tuned to english yet!
I love your voice. Its got something special, deep... I don't know, special...

Claire - I agree with you. The music was very lame. If they were going to do it, they should have at least played the score from the film that won.
Dragon - If my voice was throaty it was because I was nervous. Sexy? Hardly.
Lost Goddess - I have been a public speaker all my life, so maybe that helped.
Faithful Joy - Thanks! Twice!
Fitena - Don't worry about not catching English too well. When I first moved to America I had an awful time with it. And I apolozie that I don't know now to do the accent aigu over your "e."
